TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau extends contract with Sam Walker ahead of schedule
The table tennis Bundesliga club TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau is continuing its personnel planning and has extended the 30-year-old Englishman's contract for another year.
‘Sam is immensely important to us – both athletically and personally,’ emphasises TTC chairman Olaf Gstettner. ‘He is a valuable member of our team, both in singles and doubles. In addition, he takes responsibility, exemplifies professionalism and is an important mentor for our younger players.’
Walker himself is looking forward to the coming season in Brexbachtal with motivation: "I feel very comfortable in Grenzau and am delighted to continue being part of this team. We have an exciting mix in the team, and I want to make my contribution – in singles, doubles and also off the table. At the same time, I want to develop further as an athlete and grow in my role."
