The Liebherr TTBL Final 2022/23 is part of the multi-sport event "The Finals 2023 Rhine-Ruhr": The final match for the championship of the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) will take place on July 9, 2023 at the Castello in Düsseldorf. Tickets are available now.
The championship of the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) will be decided in Düsseldorf. After the Liebherr TTBL Final was already part of the "Finals" in 2021 and was held in Dortmund, it will now be integrated into the popular multi-sport event again this season. "We are convinced of the concept to host the German championship decisions of many sports bundled on one weekend and are very happy to be part of the "Finals" again this year," says TTBL Managing Director Nico Stehle.

The defending champions could then also be in the mix again: Borussia Düsseldorf, led by superstar Timo Boll and European champion Dang Qiu, secured their place in the semi-final play-offs as main round winners, which will determine in May which two teams will face each other in the Liebherr TTBL finals. Also in the play-offs are the newly crowned Champions League winners 1. FC Saarbrücken TT, TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen and Post SV Mühlhausen.

After this year's record attendance at the Final Four for the German Table Tennis Cup, which was sold out with 5,000 spectators, the goal for the Liebherr TTBL final has also been set: the showdown for the German Team Championship on July 9, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Castello Düsseldorf should take place in front of a sold-out crowd if possible - the arena has room for around 3,000 spectators. On the same day, all table tennis fans can also look forward to watching the Para table tennis players battle it out for the cross-class Champions Trophy.
