Iulian Chirita is staying and has extended his contract in Ochsenhausen
Following the previously announced departure of Andreas Levenko, TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen can now announce its next key personnel decision: Iulian Chirita has extended his contract early and will therefore remain with the club for at least another year.
The 20-year-old Romanian joined Ochsenhausen during the current season on a one-year contract. In his first season in the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL), he confirmed his ability with a positive 10-8 record, establishing himself as the second-strongest player in the team.
President Kristijan Pejinovic emphasises the significance of this move: “We are delighted to announce that we have been able to extend the contract with our player Iulian Chirita ahead of schedule. In addition to his sporting development, he is characterised above all by his outstanding team spirit – he is a true team player and captivates the audience with his passion. The coaching staff, management and I are convinced that he still has a great deal of potential for development! We look forward to the coming months with confidence and are delighted to have him by our side. We wish him every success in the upcoming tournaments and the rest of the season.”
Chirita himself is also delighted: “I’m really pleased to have extended my contract with Ochsenhausen for another year. This club has helped me enormously ever since the first day I arrived here, and I’m truly grateful for the trust and support they’ve shown in me. The people around the team, the staff and my teammates have created a fantastic environment in which I can develop and improve. We have a very good group, and it feels truly special to be part of this team. I look forward to continuing on this path together and continuing to work hard for the club and our goals. Many thanks to everyone who supports us and me!”
