The cup semi-finalists have been decided: something for all fans to look forward to
Everything is ready for the big showdown: In the Liebherr Cup Final Four on January 4, 2026, the four best teams of the season will face each other and battle for the title. Top stars such as Fan Zhendong, Dimitrij Ovtcharov, Patrick Franziska, and Shunsuke Togami have announced their participation—as have thousands of fans who will turn the ratiopharm arena Ulm/Neu-Ulm into a cauldron of excitement. Tickets for the Liebherr Cup Final Four are available from €14.
The quarterfinals were closer than ever before in the history of the German Table Tennis Cup. All four matches went to the final doubles, and not every favorite came out on top in the end. Accordingly, heated battles are also to be expected in the Liebherr Cup Final Four, in which 1. FC Saarbrücken TT, TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen, TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell, and TTC OE Clarity-Telefonie Systeme Bad Homburg will battle it out for the first title of the year.
For all fans, this means that on January 4, 2026, they will not only experience world-class table tennis and an exciting atmosphere at the ratiopharm arena in Ulm/Neu-Ulm, but also get up close and personal with the stars. Among others, Olympic champion Fan Zhendong, world champion Shunsuke Togami, and German national players Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Patrick Franziska will be there to compete for the title. Fan and Franziska are aiming for the trophy with 1. FC Saarbrücken TT: Even before the season started, the Saarland team had set their sights on further titles, and their first chance will come shortly after the turn of the year. The FCS has won the German Table Tennis Cup twice so far (2022, 2012) and has a total of seven trophies in its cabinet. In the semi-finals, Franziska and Co. will face TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen, led by Togami. The double world champion from Japan is still undefeated in the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) and is allowing the five-time cup winner (2002, 2003, 2004, 2019, 2025) to dream of repeating last year's success.
Liebherr Cup Final Four: Tickets available from €14
If you want to be there in person at the Liebherr Cup Final Four on January 4 and cheer on the top stars as they battle it out for the title, take a look at our ticket shop. Tickets for the Final Four cost €14 in the cheapest category. With the 3-for-2 promotion (category 5) and group tickets for 10 or more people (categories 1 to 5), there are special offers for families and clubs. In previous years, around 5,000 fans flocked to the ratiopharm arena, with all tickets selling out early. Due to high demand, the entire arena will be open for the first time this season, making the Liebherr Cup Final Four 2026 bigger and more spectacular than ever before.
While Saarbrücken and Ochsenhausen face each other on January 4, TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell and TTC OE Clarity-Telefonie Systeme Bad Homburg will compete against each other at the same time. Bad Homburg, with legendary coach Helmut Hampl, caused a major upset in the quarterfinals with a 3-2 victory over record cup winners Borussia Düsseldorf – so Fulda should be warned. The East Hessians, on the other hand, are in the Liebherr Cup Final Four for the first time in four years and are dreaming of their first title in the club's history. The already high-caliber squad was strengthened in the summer with the addition of Jonathan Groth. Between 2013 and 2016, Fulda lost four consecutive cup finals to Düsseldorf – on January 4, 2026, they will give everything to lift the trophy this time.
