Fulda, September 24, 2026 – The stage is set for the first major title of the new year: 1. FC Saarbrücken Tischtennis, Borussia Dortmund, TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell and SV Werder Bremen have secured their places at the Liebherr Pokal Final4 2027. On January 3, the four teams will compete for the German Table Tennis Cup at the ratiopharm arena in Ulm/Neu-Ulm. Tickets for the season highlight are now on sale.

A day of world-class table tennis and big emotions

When Germany’s top cup teams meet in early January, fans can expect excitement, emotion and world-class table tennis. The Liebherr Pokal Final4 offers a unique format in Germany: two semi-finals and the grand final are played on a single day. For fans, this means top-class sport, thrilling encounters and the decision of the German Table Tennis Cup all within a few hours. The semi-finals begin at 11 a.m., with the arena opening its doors 90 minutes earlier.

The Liebherr Pokal Final4 has long been one of the highlights of the German table tennis calendar, as last year’s event impressively demonstrated. A sell-out crowd of 5,200 spectators at the ratiopharm arena created a record attendance and an extraordinary atmosphere. In 2027, visitors can once again look forward to a day filled with top-level sport, emotion and unforgettable moments.

Four teams on the road to the Cup title

In the first semi-final, defending champions 1. FC Saarbrücken Tischtennis will face Borussia Dortmund. Led by World Cup winner Hugo Calderano and Germany international Patrick Franziska, the Saarbrücken side will travel to Ulm/Neu-Ulm as the reigning treble winners. Borussia Dortmund made headlines at the Leapmotor Pokal Grand Opening, securing a place in the Liebherr Pokal Final4 for the first time.

The second semi-final will see TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell take on SV Werder Bremen. The Hessian side reached the Cup final last season and will rely, among others, on German international Dimitrij Ovtcharov. Werder Bremen return to the big Cup stage after a one-year absence and will be aiming to fulfill their dream of lifting the German Cup in Ulm/Neu-Ulm.

Ticket sales for the Liebherr Pokal Final4 2027 are now open. Tickets are available from as little as €19. Until October 4, fans can benefit from a 20 percent early-bird discount on tickets in categories 1 to 4.
