Swedish national player Anton Källberg has extended his contract with German table tennis record champions Borussia Düsseldorf ahead of schedule until 2027. The 28-year-old has been playing for Borussia since 2016. “I am very happy to continue being part of Borussia Düsseldorf. The club is my sporting home,” Källberg was quoted as saying in a club statement.

Källberg has already won 248 singles matches for Düsseldorf, been German champion six times, and won the Champions League twice. He won the silver medal with Sweden at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, defeating Timo Boll in four sets in a 3-0 victory over Germany in the quarterfinals.
